Our Purpose
We design our programs at LLM to be person-centered and results-oriented. By tailoring our services to the unique needs of each participant, we enable them to enhance their circumstances, unlock their potential, and achieve self-sufficiency. Continuous evaluation of our growth and development ensures the delivery of the highest-quality services within our capabilities.
In serving our participants, LLM embraces the concept of community inclusion. This principle fosters active and meaningful participation in all aspects of community life, promoting equal opportunities, diversity, and acceptance. Our approach emphasizes social integration, participation in decision-making processes, and the removal of barriers to accessibility.
Key elements of our community inclusion concept include:
Equal Opportunities: Ensuring access to education, employment, housing, healthcare, and recreational activities within the community.
Diversity and Acceptance: Cultivating an inclusive and welcoming environment that values diversity and fosters understanding among community members.
Social Integration: Encouraging social interactions and relationships among individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Participation: Empowering individuals to engage actively in community decision-making and advocate for their own needs.
Accessibility: Removing physical, communication, and attitudinal barriers to full participation for individuals with disabilities.
Support Services: Providing necessary support services and accommodations to facilitate full integration into the community.
Advocacy: Promoting policies and practices that uphold the principles of community inclusion and safeguarding the rights of individuals to be active members of their community.
At Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries, we are dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of these principles within our community. By advocating for equality and inclusion, we strive to reduce discrimination, stigma, and social isolation, thereby empowering marginalized individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
In summary, our organization is guided by two primary objectives:
Person-Centered Approach: We are committed to assisting participants in addressing challenges, improving their circumstances, realizing their potential, and achieving self-sufficiency. Our services are tailored to meet the unique preferences and needs of each individual.
Results-Oriented Focus: We measure our success by the progress and achievements of our participants. Through empowerment, respect for privacy and dignity, and a focus on individual differences and aspirations, we aim to identify and present meaningful options for our participants.
At Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries, we are dedicated to making a positive and lasting difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our Story
Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries traces its roots back to the compassionate vision of founder Jeanene Mader and her family, who have long been dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. Their family home has served as a haven for those in need, embodying a spirit of love, acceptance, and care.
In 1996, the Mader family opened their hearts and home to a remarkable young lady who found herself abandoned and homeless following a life-altering car accident. Recognizing her need for stability and support, Jeanene legally adopted her, welcoming her into their family with open arms.
Through their experience, Jeanene realized the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing appropriate support and services within the community. Despite her efforts to find suitable resources for her daughter, she encountered barriers and limitations that hindered her daughter's ability to thrive.
Driven by her conviction that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, Jeanene was determined to make a difference. In 2007, she took a bold step forward and founded Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries. With a mission to provide essential supports and services to those in need, the organization began offering Residential Supports, Community Living Supports, and Adult Day Training programs.
Since its inception, Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries has remained steadfast in its commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Through a combination of compassion, dedication, and advocacy, the organization continues to make a positive impact in the lives of its participants and their families.
Today, Lord’s Legacy Life Ministries stands as a testament to the transformative power of love, acceptance, and community support. The legacy of compassion initiated by Jeanene Mader and her family continues to inspire and guide the organization as it strives to create a more inclusive and supportive society for all.
