Kentucky Medicaid
Medicaid Waivers
LLM currently provides supports to individuals that receive Kentucky Medicaid funding through either the Supports for Community Living Waiver, Michelle P Waiver, or State General Funds. For individuals that do not qualify for Medicaid waiver services due to their income level, LLM does provide the option for services through private pay. Below are descriptions of the three Kentucky Medicaid waiver programs that LLM currently accepts and the types of services provided under each waiver.
Michelle P (MPW)
This home and community-based waiver under the Kentucky Medicaid program was developed as an alternative to institutional care for individuals with intellectual disability or developmental disabilities. MPW allows individuals to remain in their homes with services and supports. Services include: Case Management, Day Training, Supported Employment, Community Living Supports, Behavior Supports, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respite, Homemaker Service, Personal Care, Attendant Care, Environmental/Minor Home Adaptation, and Adult Day Health Care.
(This waiver allows up to 40 hours of service (in combination) weekly; Respite time is not included in the 40 hour/week total.)
Supports for Community Living (SCL2)
This home and community-based waiver under the Kentucky Medicaid program was developed for Kentucky residents as an alternative to institutional care for an individual with intellectual disability or developmental disabilities. Services include: Support Coordination, Residential Supports, Community Habilitation, Supported Employment, Community Living Supports, Behavioral Supports, Psychological Supports, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Respite.
State General Funds (SGF)
This home and community-based waiver under the Kentucky Medicaid program was developed as an alternative to institutional care for individuals with intellectual disability or developmental disabilities for those on the waiting list for MPW, SCL2, or wanting to just use a limited amount of supports. Services include Case Management, limited Day Training, limited Community Living Supports, and Respite.

Private Pay is accepted for all of our services. Please inquire about private pay options.
